Akant İlkokulu 2B Sınıfı öğrencileri Macaristan Budapeşte Bolatonboglar Primary Scchool öğrencileri ile Skype kullanarak İngilizce görüşme yaptılar. İki okulun öğrencilerine de diğer sınıfın hangi ülkede olduğu söylenmedi. Öğrenciler birbirlerine sorular sorarak hangi ülkede olduklarını bulmaya çalıştılar. Yaklaşık 40 dakika süren bu görüşme sonucunda iki sınıf öğrencileri de ülkeleri doğru bildiler. Özel Akant İlkokulu tarafından pilot uygulama olarak başlatılan proje tüm ilkokul sınıflarında farklı farklı ülkelerin öğrencileriyle görüşme şeklinde sürdürülecektir.
Projenin amacı: öğrencilerimizin İngilizce konuşma becerilerini geliştirmek ve öğrendiklerini kullanma, aynı zamanda başka ülkelerdeki akranlarıyla bilgi paylaşımında bulunmalarına olanak sağlamaktır. Farklı kültürleri ve insanları tanımak, onlarla her yaşta iletişim halinde olmaları konusunda farkındalık yaratmaktır.

AKANT PRIMARY SCHOOL IN HUNGARY
Akant Primary School students of 2B have had a Skype call with a school in Hungary. The students were not told which country the other students were from. They tried to guess the country by asking questions to each other. The call lasted about 40 minutes and both sides guessed right about the countries. With this pilot project, all the students of Akant Schools will have a Skype meeting with students all around the world. Whilst the students are having fun, they are also using all the information they have learnt and with this, peer education is supported. Students see that the language they are learning is not only used in their class but also around the World. They meet different people of different cultures and have an interaction with them at early ages.
